I firmly believe every woman deserves a doula. Payment plans are offered and I'm willing to barter services or asses other proposed forms of payment at signing. Our contract covers service fees and details, don't hesitate to shoot me a message with any questions.

I get it, stuff happens, so I offer a grace period of 15 minutes. I realize that emergencies can occur, please communicate with me so that we can cancel or reschedule as necessary.

Any time after the grace period, the client will be given the option of either being seen later that day as a 'pull up' if the schedule permits, or rescheduled for a later date according to availability.

24-hour notice

It’s nearly impossible to fill the time that was reserved for you on short notice or lack thereof. Clients who "no-call, no-show" will be sent an invoice for the full session time without negotiation.

In the rare event that I am running behind, you will still receive your full session of time, if convenient for you. If not, I will adjust the price of your service accordingly.

THE MARABOU METHOD

Marabou Mama offers a series of engaging, informal, and practical ‘crash courses’ from the heart, of course. These classes have been curated to re-train your brain and get you fitted for your divine encounter. I do not teach out of a workbook and each course is a virtual class via Facetime, Zoom/Google Meet, OR a private session in an intimate setting of your choice.

The goals of these classes are to provide you with the information and skills you need to enhance your pregnancy through birth outcome and suit you up for early parenthood! I will curate a cozy vibe for discussing things you may not be confident with and keep my classes small (3 families max) so there is time to ask questions as they arise without feeling silly or ashamed. It is a NO JUDGEMENT ZONE whenever and wherever I pull up!

Which course(s) should I book?

There's an array of classes to choose from, you can take just one, a combination of a few, or your family may need all of them dependent upon your lifestyle and needs. Play it by ear and if you rock with how I teach and the information sticks, we can always add on another course, no pressure at all.

When is the best time to take these courses?

I've crafted a timeless curriculum so that you can tap in from anywhere on the map at any point in your journey, however, the optimal time is the bridge between the end of your second trimester and early in your third trimester. This timing ensures the information is at the forefront of your memory so you feel prepared and informed rather than flooded and overwhelmed.

Should my partner be there?

OUUU YES! I totally encourage partner presence, whoever loves and is supporting you throughout this beautiful journey should absolutely be alongside you for these courses. Shoot, they may ask what you are afraid or forget to. :)

What if you're at a birth during our scheduled course time?

You right AF; since I am an active doula, there is always the possibility that I will be called to attend a birth during our scheduled time. Each course will be assigned an alternative date in case of a last-minute need to reschedule, usually the following week.

Is my course payment refundable?

If your course is less than 14 days away, the payment is non-refundable. Can’t make the live session or the backup date? No worries—you won’t get a refund, but you’ll still get 90-day access to the recording to review until you know your stuff for your special day!
